Elevate ADK’s Cannabis journey began in 2014 when we embarked on a mission to advocate for fair cannabis regulations that led to the inception of North Country Roots, Inc. Despite facing challenges in the initial licensing process, our determination never wavered.
In 2022, the passing of the Marijuana Regulation and Taxation Act (MRTA) marked a turning point, paving the way for us to secure a Conditional Adult Use Retail License.
By January 2023, with the invaluable addition of Eli Emery to our team, we were ready to launch the Elevate ADK Cannabis Dispensary. We proudly opened our doors for delivery in May 2023 and in-store sales in October 2023, establishing ourselves as the first licensed and tax-paying marijuana dispensary in the North Country.
